  • Ensure that the personal details used for your conference registration (including your name and email address) exactly match those provided in your visa application.

Provide supporting documents

Depending on your circumstances, you may be asked to provide documents such as:

  • Conference registration confirmation
  • Letter of Invitation
  • Accommodation details
  • Evidence of sufficient financial support

Check your eligibility

Visa requirements and processing times vary by nationality. Please consult the Australian Department of Home Affairs for the latest information.

Track your application

After submission, you can monitor the progress of your application and upload any additional documents requested through your ImmiAccount.

Conference Letter of Invitation

The Australian Department of Home Affairs may consider evidence that you have been invited to or are registered for a conference when assessing your visa application. A copy of your conference registration confirmation or Letter of Invitation should be included with your visa application where appropriate.

A Letter of Invitation may be obtained by:

Please note that a Letter of Invitation is issued solely to support a visa application and does not constitute financial support or guarantee the approval of a visa.
